Help, please

I am looking for environmentally friendly household cleaners, especially since hearing and reading about how caustic and cancer causing our regular commercial cleaners are. I want to find a Canadian supplier, and preferably a Canadian manufacturer. Anybody out there know of any such place? I have just started my internet search. So far I have found a supplier called Ecover, but I don't know where their products are made. Here's their website if you're curious.

www.ecover.com/ca

Thanks.

spitandpolish.com...interesting. If it doesn't exist you should start it.

Try the book "Haley's Cleaning Hints". It has recipies for all kinds of cleaners using things you have around the home including what to use them on and how to use them. I've used mine alot!

Seventh Generation makes a great vegitable based dish liquid, no Canuck though.

Cindy made what would be my next suggestion with Haley, mostly natural solutions to household cleaning, most work well.
A very Menno approach, though an Irishman says so...

You need to borrow my old table game called "untrivia". Purchased it mail order back in the early 80's when I still thought living co-operatively and socially responsibly was viable for families (sorry to be such a cynic). Anways, it's full of organic household cleaner tips, most of which come down to vinegar and baking soda. The game comes from www.familypastimes.com (Perth, Ontario). We've never played it much, but apparently, if we lived in Sweden, the odds are that we would!

Hey Cheryl, there is an organic store near the hostel (dont remember the street) that sells e-cover and i think Organza on Osbourne sells it too.
