Well duh...

So I'm listening to this lady on the radio this morning talking about I'm not sure what but the one comment that caught my ear was her saying she just can't understand blogging. "Why would anyone want to read about the boring details of my life?" she said, or something to that effect, "Unless it was a friend of mine...." blah blah blah.

And I thought, well, duh...

That's who I blog for, especially friends I don't see much but still think of, and I've even managed to connect with a cousin I haven't seen in 15 years or more. I don't expect many people to read my blog, I know it's pretty humdrum. But for those who care, it's a little more info than they would get waiting for a letter!

so there, radio lady.

Hey! It's raining like crazy here, and it's windy. The rain is expected; the wind is out of the ordinary and kind of freaking me out a little. I talked to a lady the other day who remarked about the wind and said she and her husband stayed up into the wee hours watching a tree in their backyard to make sure it didn't crash into their bedroom. I can't imagine actually doing that--staying up and watching a tree. They do tend to fall over here; the wet weather makes them very tall but not very well rooted. I bet we could draw some spiritual application from that. But with me being tall and all I don't think i am going to try very hard. I've spoken a couple of times at our women's bible study. I will get to do it a few more times in the new year. I hope the experience is going to grow me in a good way. I am doing my last bazaar of the season on Saturday. Whew! It's been fun, but I am so ready to NOT be doing bazaars again for awhile. I am a jewelry lady now. Seriously! I wear it; I sell it. I even promote it. Weird but fun! Mom thinks it is very odd of me indeed. They are coming to visit next week--mom and Kathleen and Tim and the kids. I am so looking forward to having them all under my roof for a week. Saul requested play-do and popcorn and I've got plenty of each. Well, I wish you blessings, my dear. Have a great night!

Hi again! Thanks for the comment on my blog. As for missing it here, I know already that I will. I have had a couple "did I make the wrong choice?" moments...but I know I didn't and that it is going to be good coming back.

Love ya!

As a friend of mine once said, blogging is the drug of the nation. And, really, one I am very happy to share in with friends and family.
Love you and miss you
